169Tm(n, 2n) 168Tm and 169Tm (n, 3n) 167Tm cross-section measurements from 15 to 21 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 169Tm(n, 2n), (n, 3n)168Tm/167Tm, E=15-21 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) by activation method using monoenergetic neutron beams produced in 3H(d, n), E=12 MeV reaction at the FN tandem accelerator facility at TUNL. Comparison with previous experimental data, and evaluations in ENDF/B-VIII.0. Relevance to reaction-in-flight neutron yields for example studying properties of d-t plasma created in inertial confinement fusion laser shots at the NIF-LLNL.

Measurements of the 169Tm(n, 2n) cross section from threshold to 15 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 169Tm(n, 2n), E=8.5-15 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, half-lives of 168Tm, σ(E) at TUNL tandem accelerator facility. Comparison with TENDL-2015 output of the TALYS calculation. 197Au(n, 2n), E=8.5-15 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, this reaction served as neutron flux monitor. Comparison with previous experimental data, and evaluated data in IRDF-2002, ENDF/B-VII.1, JENDL-4.0, and JEFF-3.2 libraries. Relevance to diagnostic tool for neutron energy distribution produced in inertial confinement deuterium-tritium fusion experiments at the National Ignition Facility (NIF).
