Coexisting single-particle and collective excitations in ⁷⁰As

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁵Mn(¹⁸O, 3n), E=50 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), level half-lives by DSAM at FSU Superconducting Accelerator Facility. ⁷⁰As; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, B(E2), B(M1), configurations, kinematic moments of inertia, signature splitting. Comparison with previous experimental results, and large-scale shell-model calculations. Systematics of B(M1), B(E2), and energy staggering for ^68,70,72,74As.
