Investigation of the quasi-free domain in deuteron-deuteron break-up using spin observables

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(d, d'p)1n, E=65 MeV/nucleon[liquid target], measured vector and tensor analyzing powers for configurations close to quasi-free scattering process with neutron as a spectator using BINA 4π-detection system at KVI; measured neutron momenta using AGOR facility of KVI with BINA 4π-detection system, deuteron-proton momentum transfer; analyzed events of coplanar final-state deuteron and proton; deduced the data agree well with measured and predicted spin observables of elastic d-p scattering process, however, the agreement becomes rapidly deteriorated with increasing neutron momentum and/or decreasing momentum transfer from deuteron beam to the avoiding proton; deduced presence of significant contribution of final-state interactions even at very small neutron momenta.
