First cross-section measurements of the reactions 107, 109Ag(p, γ)108, 110Cd at energies relevant to the p process

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 107,109Ag(p, γ)108Cd/110Cd, E=2.2, 3.5, 4 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, total reaction s(E) using in-beam spectroscopy at Tandem accelerator of NCSR Demokritos; deduced S factor. Discussed p-process. Comparison with Hauser-Feshbach statistical calculations using TALYS code. 107Ag(p, n)107Cd, E=2.4-6 MeV; analyzed reaction σ(E) from previous experimental data with TALYS calculations.
