Cross-section measurements of the 156Dy(n, 2n)155Dy reaction at neutron energies higher than 17 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 156Dy(n, 2n)155Dy, E=17.1, 18.1, 19.0 MeV; 27Al(n, α)24Na, E=17.1, 18.1, 19.0 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) by activation technique and off-line γ-ray spectrometry, using natural dysprosium target, with 27Al(n, α) reaction used as a reference at the 5.5-MV Tandem accelerator of N.C.S.R. "Demokritos". Comparison with theoretical calculations using TALYS-1.95 code for the present and previous measurements for E(n)=10-20 MeV.

"Demokritos"; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) for the population of the ground state and isomeric state of 164Ho, relative to 197Au(n, 2n)196Au and 27Al(n, α)24Na reactions, using γ-activation method. Comparison of present and previous experimental results with theoretical calculations using the TALYS code with different level density models.

The (n, 2n) reaction for the lightest stable erbium isotope 162Er from reaction threshold up to 19 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 162Er(n, 2n), E=10.7, 11.0, 11.3, 17.1, 18.1, 19.0 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) by activation method at the Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator of NCSR "Demokritos". Comparison with theoretical calculations using TALYS, EMPIRE and MECO codes, and with ENDF/B-VIII.0 evaluation. 162,164,166,167,168,170Er(n, 2n), E<20 MeV; calculated σ(E) using statistical model code TALYS, and compared with available experimental data, and with evaluated data in ENDF/B-VIII.0 library.
