New experimental investigation of the structure of ¹⁰Be and ¹⁶C by means of intermediate-energy sequential breakup

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(¹⁸O, X)⁶He/⁷Li/⁸Li/⁹Li/¹⁰Be/¹¹Be/¹²Be/¹³B/¹⁴B/¹⁶C/¹⁷C, E=55 MeV/nucleon; measured TOF versus ΔE plot, yields of radioactive ion beams using LNS Fragment separator at In Flight Radioactive Ions Beams (FRIBs) facility of INFN-LNS-Catania. ^1,2H, ¹²C(¹⁰B, α⁶He), E=56 MeV/nucleon; ^1,2H, ¹²C(¹⁶C, ⁶He¹⁰Be), E=49.5 MeV/nucleon, [secondary ¹⁰B, ¹⁶C beams from ⁹Be(¹⁸O, X), E=55 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured particle spectra, αα, 3α, α(⁶He), ⁶He(¹⁰Be) and α(⁶He)(⁶He) correlations, angular distributions from projectile breakup of ¹⁰B in α+⁶He clusters, and that of ¹⁶C in ⁶He+¹⁰Be and ⁶He+⁶He+⁴He using 4π multidetector CHIMERA array of 1192 Si-CsI(Tl) telescopes. CH₂ and CD₂ targets. ¹⁰Be, ¹⁶C; deduced levels, J, π.
