New experimental investigation of the structure of 10Be and 16C by means of intermediate-energy sequential breakup

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(18O, X)6He/7Li/8Li/9Li/10Be/11Be/12Be/13B/14B/16C/17C, E=55 MeV/nucleon; measured TOF versus ΔE plot, yields of radioactive ion beams using LNS Fragment separator at In Flight Radioactive Ions Beams (FRIBs) facility of INFN-LNS-Catania. 1,2H, 12C(10B, α6He), E=56 MeV/nucleon; 1,2H, 12C(16C, 6He10Be), E=49.5 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 10B, 16C beams from 9Be(18O, X), E=55 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured particle spectra, αα, 3α, α(6He), 6He(10Be) and α(6He)(6He) correlations, angular distributions from projectile breakup of 10B in α+6He clusters, and that of 16C in 6He+10Be and 6He+6He+4He using 4π multidetector CHIMERA array of 1192 Si-CsI(Tl) telescopes. CH2 and CD2 targets. 10Be, 16C; deduced levels, J, π.
