Observation of 15N α resonant structures in 19F using the thick target in inverse kinematics scattering method

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 4He(15N, α), E=40.23 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, differential σ(θ) using ΔE-E silicon telescopes for α detection and surface barrier detectors for 15N-like recoils at the LNL-Catania Tandem accelerator facility. 19F; deduced levels, resonances, J, π, α-widths, proton widths and potential α-cluster states using R-matrix analysis using AZURE2 code. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with literature data for mirror nucleus 19Ne. Relevance to models of stars in different evolutionary stages, such as the asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars asymptotic giant branch (AGB).
