NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Sn(7Li, 5n)126I, E=50 MeV from the Pelletron accelerator at the IUAC-New Delhi; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level half-lives by DSAM using an array of 15 Compton-suppressed HPGe Clover detectors. 126I; deduced levels, J, π, bands, B(E2), B(M1), transition quadrupole moments, configurations. Comparison with two quasiparticle-plus triaxial rotor model calculation.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Sn(7Li, 8Li), (7Li, 6Li), (7Li, 3n), (7Li, 4n), (7Li, 5n), (t, n), (t, 2n), (t, 3n), 123mSn/125Sn/125mSn/124Sb/125Sb/125Sb/126mSb/126I/128I, E(7Li)=17-39 MeV, [triton from 7Li breakup]; measured on-line and off-line Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) for 2n+3n+4n, complete fusion σ(E), total fusion σ(E), incomplete fusion σ(E) for 1n-stripping and 1n-pickup channels at the 14UD BARC-TIFR Pelletron-Linac accelerator facility, Mumbai. Comparison with theoretical calculations of σ(E) using CCFULL code, and continuum discretized coupled channel (CDCC) formalism. 125m,128I; measured decay curves and half-lives.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Sn(7Li, 5n)126I, E=50 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using INGA array at IUAC facility in New Delhi. 126I; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, mixing ratio, bands, signature splitting, signature inversion, kinematic moment of inertia plots, configurations. Comparison with particle-rotor model, and total Routhian surface (TRS) calculations.
