Isoscaling and nuclear reaction dynamics

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 70Zn(70Zn, X), 64Zn(64Zn, X), E=35 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products were measured using the Neutron Ion Multidetector for Reaction Oriented Dynamics (NIMROD), yields and angular distributions of fragments (Z=4 to 8, Z=12 and Z>12) at the K500 Cyclotron facility of Texas A and M University; deduced isoscaling parameters α and β as a function of breakup angle in binary excited projectile-like fragment decays. Comparison with statistical model calculations.

Correlation between time and angular alignment in molecular dynamics simulations of heavy ion collisions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 70Zn(70Zn, X), E=35, 45 MeV/nucleon; analyzed yield of events as a function of impact parameter, angular alignment distributions, ratio of yields from the flipped peak to the dynamic peak as a function of the charge asymmetry of projectile-like fragments (PLF*) breakup, and angular alignment versus time using event tree method of analyzing molecular dynamics simulations, with constrained molecular dynamics (CoMD) model for accurate distributions of fragment masses and velocities.

Dynamical ternary decays of excited projectile-like fragments

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 70Zn(70Zn, X), E=35 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products using 4π charged-particle array NIMROD at the K500 Cyclotron at Texas A and M University; deduced normalized yields of fragments as function of Z, Dalitz plot for fragment sizing correlation, normalized velocity distributions and normalized angular distributions of fragments for the different rupture scenarios, correlation between the angles of the first and second breaks for each rupture scenario, and angular correlation between the relative velocities of fragments; investigated neutron-proton equilibration in dynamically deformed nuclear systems by analyzing composition of fragments produced from the projectile-like fragments (PLF*) in semiperipheral collisions.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 70Zn(70Zn, X), 64Zn(64Zn, X), (64Ni, X), 64Ni(64Ni, X), E=35 MeV/nucleon; measured heavy fragment (HF) and light fragment (LF) using the NIMROD detector system at the K-500 cyclotron facility of Texas A and M; deduced normalized yields as functions of velocity, angular in-plane and out-of-plane distributions, average compositions as function of the decay alignment, rate constants as function of the atomic number, time dependence of neutron-proton equilibration in dynamically deformed nuclear systems. Comparison to a statistical model, and GEMINI++ simulations.
