Beta decay study of ¹²⁶Sb and ^126mSb

RADIOACTIVITY ¹²⁶Sb(IT), (β^-) [from ¹²⁴Sn(α, np), E=27.5 MeV]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, J, π, partial level scheme, T_1/2, σ. Comparison with available data, PACE-4 calculations. Discrete Gamma Spectroscopy (DGS) and Total Absorption Gamma Spectroscopy (TAGS). The K-130 cyclotron at VECC, Kolkata, India.

Yrast and non-yrast spectroscopy of ¹⁹⁹Tl using α-induced reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(α, 2n), E=30 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, and γγ(θ)(DCO), and γγ(lin pol)(IPDCO) using VENUS array of HPGe detectors at VECC-Kolkata cyclotron facility. ¹⁹⁹Tl; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, bands, multipolarities, alignment and staggering plots, and configurations; calculated total Routhian surface (TRS) contours in (β₂, γ) plane. Systematics of band structures in ^{193,195,197,199,201}Tl.

Evidence for a possible intruder πi_13/2 state. Systematics of band alignments in ^193,195,197Tl.
