General Comments:

Two 116Cs isomers have been identified from (β+)-delayed proton, (β+)-delayed α, and β+ decay studies. Their relative position is not known.

Delayed-p and α from 116Cs β+ decay (3.8 s):

from 139La(p,X) E=600 MeV, ms (1978Da07,1978Ka17,1974RaZS). Measurements: T1/2=3.5 s 2 %I(delayed-p)/I(β+)=0.36 8 %I(delayed-α)/I(β+)=8×10-3 2 Q(ε)-s(p)(116Xe)=6.45 MeV 30 Q(ε)+Q(α)(116Xe)=12.5 MeV

from 92Mo(32S,3p5n) E=190 MeV, ms (1977Bo28,1976Bo36). Measurements: T1/2=3.9 s 4 %I(delayed-p)/I(β+)=0.66 13 %I(delayed-α)/I(β+)|<3.3×10-3 Q(ε)-S(p)(116Xe)=6.4 MeV 3

from 58Ni,63Cu(58Ni,xpn). E=290 MeV, ms (1985Ti02) Measurement: T1/2=4.0 s 3 I(delayed-p)/I(delayed-a)=200 80 Delayed-p and α from 116Cs β+ decay (0.7 s):

from 92Mo(32S,3p5n) E=190 MeV, ms (1977Bo28). Measurements: T1/2=0.65 s 10 %I(delayed-p)/I(β+)=0.28 7 %I(delayed-α)=4.9×10-2 25 Q(ε)+Q(α)(116Xe)=12.3 MeV 4

from 58Ni,63Cu(58Ni,xpn). E=290 MeV, ms (1985Ti02,1982Ti05) Measurement: T1/2=0.6 s 1 I(delayed-p)/I(delayed-γ)=16 4

E(level): From least-squares fit to Eγ’s

Jπ(level): As proposed by 2006Sm04 based on angular distribution data, long cascades of stretched quadrupole transitions and systematics of neighboring Cs nuclides

M(γ): From γ-ray angular distribution data in 58Ni(64Zn,2pnγ). The mult=E2 corresponds to ΔJ=2 and M1+E2 to ΔJ=1 transitions
