Experimental study of the Γp1p0 ratios of resonance states in 8Be or deducing the 7Be(n, p1)7Li* reaction rate relevant to the cosmological lithium problem

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(3He, α)8Be*, E=30 MeV; measured Eα, Iα, angular distributions by ΔE-E and magnetic rigidity of α particles using high-resolution spectrometer ENMA at the Tandem accelerator facility of JAEA-Tokai. 8Be; deduced levels, J, π, Γ, Γp1p0 using Breit-Wigner formalism, double-differential σ(θ) of decay of excited stated of 8Be by proton decay to 7Li g.s. and excited states. 7Be(n, p)7Li*, T9=0.01-2; calculated reaction rates. Relevance to 7Be destruction in the big bang nucleosynthesis.
