Proton spectroscopy of 48Ni, 46Fe, and 44Cr

RADIOACTIVITY 48Ni(2p); 44Cr, 46Fe(β+p); 46Fe(β+2p); [44Cr, 46Fe, 48Ni activities from Ni(58Ni, X), E=160 MeV/nucleon]; measured Ep, Ip, half-lives of ground states of 44Cr, 46Fe, 48Ni, proton branching ratios using an optical time projection chamber (OPTC). Reconstruction of the four 2p-decay events from decay of 48Ni; deduced Q(2p). Comparison previous experimental results.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ni(58Ni, X)44Cr/46Fe/48Ni, E=160 MeV/nucleon; measured fragment spectra, time-of-flight, energy loss and production σ using A1900 separator and standard acquisition system at NSCL-MSU facility. LISE++ analysis. Comparison with EPAX-3 and EPAX-2.1 parametrizations.
