Measurement of the 13C(n, γ) thermal cross section via neutron irradiation and AMS

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 13C(n, γ), E=reactor[neutron beam from high-flux ILL research reactor to produce 14C atoms]; measured 14C/13C ratio using VERA Accelerator Mass Spectrometer allowing to determine 13C(n, γ)/14C thermal σ accurately at sub-eV region; deduced good agreement with other recent measurements using Prompt Gamma-ray Activation Analysis.
