Semiclassical unified description of wobbling motion in even-even and even-odd nuclei

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 158Er, 163Lu; calculated yrast levels, J, π, triaxial strongly-deformed (TSD) bands, B(E2), B(M1), wobbling frequencies, electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole moments, multipolarity mixing ratios for 163Lu. Derived compact formulas for wobbling frequencies. Semiclassical formalism to describe the wobbling motion in even-even and even-odd nuclei, using a time-dependent variational principle. Comparison with available experimental results.
