RADIOACTIVITY 276Mt, 280Rg(α)[from α decay chain of 288Mc formed in 243Am(48Ca, 3n), E=262 MeV at LBNL cyclotron facility]; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, E(x rays), αγ-, α(x ray)-, γγ-coin, half-lives of 276Mt and 280Rg isotopes. 272Bh, 276Mt; deduced levels, multipolarities, α hindrance factors. GEANT4 simulations of α and photon spectra. No K-x rays were definitely assigned thus uncertain Z identification.

RADIOACTIVITY 257Rf, 253No(α)[257Rf from 208Pb(50Ti, n), E=238, 243, 258 MeV]; measured Eα. 249Fm, 253No; deduced levels.
