Decay of 58Co

RADIOACTIVITY 58mCo(IT), (EC)[from 55Mn(α, n), E=27 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, half-life of 58mCo decay. 58Fe; deduced levels, ϵ feeding to 2077 level, logft value, absolute intensity of 24.9-keV γ ray. Comparison with previous experimental and evaluated values. 58mCo(β-), (EC); discussed expected logft values and partial half-lives for decays to g.s. in 58Ni, and g.s., 811, 1675, 2077 and 2134 levels in 58Fe.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 55Mn(α, n)58Co/58mCo, 55Mn(α, 2n)57Co, E=27 MeV; measured yields of reaction products.
