High-spin structure of ³⁷Cl, intruder excitations, and the sd-fp shell gap

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁴Mg(¹⁶O, 3p), E=70 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, angular distributions, half-lives using Doppler shift attenuation method using GASP array. ³⁷Cl; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarities, B(M1), B(E2) and configurations. Comparison with large-scale shell model calculations involving sd and fp orbitals using the sdpf and SDPF-M effective interactions.
