Near-threshold π^- photoproduction on the deuteron

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²H(γ, π^-), E=147.0, 149.7, 152.3, 154.9, 157.6, 159.8 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, total σ(E) using three large NaI(Tl) detectors for γ detection of radiative π^- capture in target at the Tagged-Photon Facility of the MAX IV Laboratory in Sweden; deduced probability of π^- capture inside the LD₂ target. Comparison with theoretical predictions.

Compton scattering from the deuteron above pion-production threshold

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²H(γ, γ'), E=143.2, 148.4, 153.2, 158.5 MeV bremsstrahlung photons produce by electron beam of about 190 MeV at the MAX-IV Laboratory in Lund; measured Eγ, γ(θ), γγ-coin, and differential σ(θ) of Compton scattered photons above the pion-production threshold using Compton and Two-Photon Spectrometer (CATS) at MAX IV Laboratory.
