High-spin states in ¹³⁶La and possible structure change in the N=79 region

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁴Sn(¹⁷N, 5n), E=5.2 MeV/nucleon, [¹⁷N secondary beam from ⁹Be(¹⁸O, ¹⁷N), E=9.3 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, isomer half-life by γ(t) at RCNP-Osaka facility. ¹³⁶La; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, isomer, bands, configuration, B(M1), B(E2). Comparison with pair-truncated shell model (PTSM) calculations, and cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky (CNS) model. Systematics of band structures in ^{130,132,134,136}La and N=79 isotones ¹³⁴Cs, ¹³⁶La, ¹³⁸Pr, ¹⁴⁰Pm.
