Characterization of octupole-type structures in ²²¹Th

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁷Pb(¹⁸O, 4n), E=96 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (evaporation residues)γ-coin, γ(θ) using Gammasphere and HERCULES detector arrays at ATLAS-ANL facility. ²²¹Th; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, mixing ratio, bands, alternating-parity sequences and multiple octupole structures, B(E1)/B(E2) and B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, alignment plots. Systematics of octupole structures, parity splitting, and other properties in ^{218,219,220,221,222}Ra, ^{219,220,221,222,223,224}Th.
