Detailed γ-ray spectroscopy of ⁵⁵Cr and ⁵⁶Cr: Confirmation of the subshell closure at N=32

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁸Ca(¹¹B, 2np), (¹¹B, 3np), E=35-40 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ^55,56Cr deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations. Total Routhian surface calculations. Level systematics and shell features in neighboring nuclides discussed.

Shape isomerism and spectroscopy of ¹⁷⁷Hg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁴⁴Sm(³⁶Ar, 3n), E=178 MeV; measured prompt and delayed Eγ, Iγ, (recoil)γ-, γγ-coin. ¹⁷⁷Hg deduced high-spin levels, possible J, π, isomeric state T_1/2. Jurosphere array, recoil-decay tagging, comparisons with neighboring isotopes.
