Correlated mass, energy, and angular distributions from bremsstrahlung-induced fission of 234U and 232Th in the energy region of the fission barrier

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 234U(γ, F), Eend-point=9.0, 7.5, 6.4 MeV bremsstrahlung; 232Th(γ, F), Eend-point=9.5, 8.0 MeV bremsstrahlung; 238U(γ, F), Eend-point=8.5 MeV bremsstrahlung; measured fission-fragments, fission yields, fission-fragment angular distributions using twin Frisch-grid ionization chamber (FGIC) at the superconducting Darmstadt linear accelerator (S-DALINAC) facility; deduced fission-fragment mass yield and TKE distributions. Discussed possible interpretation of observed correlations in terms of fission modes.
