High-energy fission cross sections induced by deuterons on 232Th and protons on natPb targets

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 232Th(d, F), E=1.6, 2.5, 4.0 GeV; Pb(p, F), E=2.0 GeV; measured fission fragment spectra, total fission σ(E) at Nuclotron accelerator, JINR; deduced parametric fits of deuteron-induced fission on 232U and 238U, and proton-induced fission of Pb. Comparison with previous experimental studies of fission σ.
