Pairing dynamics and solitonic excitations in collisions of medium-mass, identical nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 90Zr(90Zr, X), 96Zr(96Zr, X), E(cm)=180-200 MeV; calculated time evolution of neutron average pairing gap and the quadrupole moment in head-on collision of superfluid nuclei. Time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) extended to superfluid systems, known as the time-dependent superfluid local density approximation (TDSLDA).
