Relative Spins and Excitation Energies of Superdeformed Bands in ¹⁹⁰Hg: Further evide4nce for octupole vibration

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(³⁴S, 4n), E ≈ 158 MeV; measured Eγ, relative Eγ, relative Iγ, γγγ-coin, DCO ratios. ¹⁹⁰Hg deduced high-spin levels, J, π, J² moments of inertia, B(λ), relative excitation energy between two superdeformed bands. Comparison with RPA calculations.
