Prediction of neutron-induced fission product yields by a straightforward k-nearest-neighbor algorithm

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 233,234,236,237,238U, 237,238Np, 238,239,240,241,242Pu, 241,243Am, 242,244,246,248Cm(n, F), E=0.4-2.0 MeV; analyzed mass distributions of fast neutron-induced fission products, and compared with evaluated experimental data in JENDL library. 232U(n, F), E=fast; predicted mass distributions of fast neutron-induced fission and compared with the recommended data of ENDF/B-VII.1 library. Machine learning algorithm for known fission product yields (FPYs) and predicted unknowns using k-nearest-neighbor algorithm (KNN) combined with a general description of the fission observable (GEF) method.
