DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data. 12Be; deduced levels, J, π, spectroscopic factors, single-particle components in the g.s. and excited 0+ state. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and with previous experimental results. 11,12Be; calculated B(E2), B(E1), S(n) and S(2n) from shell-model, and compared with experimental data in literature.

Experimental study of the knockout reaction mechanism using 14O at 60 MeV/nucleon

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(14O, 13O), (14O, 11O), E=60 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 14O beam from 9Be(16O, X), E=80 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured particle spectra using a hodoscope of scintillation detectors at RCNP-Osaka, two-body and three-body events from decay of excited states of 13O to p+12N and p+p+11C, the latter from sequential decay via the excited states of 12N, p(11C)- and 2p(11C)-coin; deduced one-neutron removal σ and 2pn-removal reactions, and compared with theoretical calculations by intra-nuclear cascade (INC) and eikonal models for knockout reactions. 12C(14O, X)10C/11C/12C/13C/12N/13N/14N, E=60 MeV/nucleon; measured yields.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 90,92Zr(p, γ)91Nb/93Nb, E=2.0-5.0 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) using NSCL SuN detector at Notre Dame accelerator facility; deduced astrophysical S factors, reaction rates, sensitivity of reaction to widths in Hauser-Feshbach model. Comparison with standard NON-SMOKER model, and two TALYS calculations. Relevance to synthesis and abundances of light p nuclei.
