One-neutron transfer from 16O to 27Al and 28Si targets at Elab = 240 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 27Al, 28Si(16O, 15O), E=240 MeV; measured reaction products; deduced one-neutron stripping reaction σ(θ); calculated 27Al, 28Si(16O, 16O), E=240 MeV; calculated elastic scattering σ(θ). Comparison to coupled channel Born approximation (CCBA) and coupled reaction channels (CRC) performed with spectroscopic amplitudes obtained from the PSDMOD, SDMWKPN and SDPF-U interactions. MAGNEX spectrometer at superconducting cyclotron (INFN-LNL de Sud, Catania).

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 16O on 27Al and 28Si at 240 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 27Al, 28Si(16O, 16O), (16O, 16O'), E=240 MeV; measured 16O particles, excitation energy spectra and σ(θ) for elastic and inelastic scattering using MAGNEX spectrometer and focal plane detector at INFN-Catania; deduced dependence of shape of angular distributions on the mass diffuseness parameter. Comparison with coupled channel calculations by including couplings to excited states in the target and projectile.
