Deformation studies at high spins in γ-soft ¹⁷⁹Re nucleus

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁵Ho(¹⁸O, 4n), E=82 MeV; measured Doppler-shifted Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹⁷⁹Re deduced levels T_1/2, transition quadrupole moments, B(M1), B(E2), deformation parameters. Recoil-distance technique. Comparison with model predictions.
