¹⁸²Pt as a possible candidate for X(5) symmetry

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁷⁰Yb(¹⁶O, 4n), E=87 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ), γγ-coin using RDDS (Recoil distance Doppler shift) with five large volume Ge detectors and EUROBALL cluster detector. ¹⁸²Pt deduced T_1/2 of selected γ transitions using Differential decay curve method; calculated deformation using IBM-1 ECQF (Extended Consistent Q-formalism) and GCM or Frankfurt model; deduced yrast band quadrupole moments, yrast B(E2), X(5) features, shape coexistence indication.
