NUCLEAR REACTIONS 58Ni(n, γ)59Ni, kT=25 keV quasistellar neutron spectrum; measured E(n), I(n), neutron flux, 59Ni content by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) technique, experimental cross section using gas-filled analyzing magnet system (GAMS) at tandem accelerator of the MLL-Garching; deduced Maxwellian-averaged cross sections (MACS). Comparison with evaluated libraries ENDF/B-VII.1, JEFF-3.2 and JENDL-4.0.

Attempt to detect primordial 244Pu on Earth

ATOMIC MASSES 244Pu; measured TOF-E(residuals) spectra using AMS technique at MLL, Garching facility. Attempt to detect primordial 244Pu in bastnasite mineral proved negative. Upper limit established, and compared with previous measurement.
