NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁴Sn(⁷Li, 4n), E=32 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, angular distribution ratios. ¹²⁷I; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, bands, 3-qp bands, β₂, β₄ and γ parameters, configurations. Systematics of single-particle bands in ^123,125,127I. Potential energy surface (PES) calculations.

High-spin level scheme of doubly odd ¹²⁸I

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁴Sn(⁷Li, 3n), E=28, 32 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(ADO). ¹²⁸I; deduced levels, J, π, bands, multipolarity, configurations. Comparison with nucleon pair approximation, and empirical shell-model calculations. Systematics of levels in doubly odd A=116-128 Iodine isotopes, and 11/2- states in A=117-127 Iodine, A=117-127 Te, and A=119-129 Xe isotopes.
