β-delayed two-proton decay of ²⁷S at the proton-drip line

RADIOACTIVITY ²⁷S(β⁺2p)[from ⁹Be(³²S, X), E=80.6 MeV/nucleon, followed by separation and purification of fragments using RIBLL1 at HIRFL-Lanzhou facility, and implanted into three W1-type double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSDs)]; measured reaction products, E(p), I(p), pp-coin, p(θ), half-life of ²⁷S decay using Si detectors surrounded by HPGe detectors; deduced branching ratio of β⁺2p decay, identified as a two-proton transition, dominantly sequential, via the isobaric-analog state (IAS) in ²⁷P to the ground state of ²⁵Al.
