Level lifetimes in the stable Zr nuclei: Effects of chemical properties in Doppler-shift measurements

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Zr, ⁹⁴Zr(n, n'), E=2.0, 2.3, 2.8, 3.5 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), level half-lives by DSAM using metal and oxide samples. ^{90,91,92,94,96}Zr; deduced levels, B(E2), reassessed structure of ⁹⁴Zr based on correction of previously measured half-lives; investigated effects of chemical nature of targets on DSAM measurements.
