Lifetime measurements of 0+ states in 168Er with the Doppler-shift attenuation method

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 168Er(n, n'γ), E=1.2-3.0 MeV in 0.1 MeV steps; measured Eγ, Iγ, excitation functions, γ(θ), level T1/2 by Doppler-shift attenuation method (DSAM) at the University of Kentucky Accelerator Laboratory. 168Er; deduced levels, J, π, excited 0+ states, bands, multipole mixing ratios, B(E2), B(E1). Comparison with previous experimental results, and with evaluated data in the ENSDF database. Systematics of low-lying levels and B(E2) values in 162,164,166,168,170Er.

Lifetime measurements in 156Gd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 155Gd(n, γ), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by GRID technique for the broadening of decay γ-ray lines using GAMS4 double-flat-crystal spectrometer at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL-Grenoble) High Flux Reactor. 156Gd; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), B(E1), intrinsic quadrupole moments, dynamic moments of inertia of the K=0+, 2+, 4+ bands. Systematics of levels, two-neutron and two-proton pairing gaps in 154,156,158,160Gd. Comparison with previous experimental values, and with partial dynamical symmetry (PDS), and 5DCH predictions.
