Lifetime measurements in ¹⁵⁶Gd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁵Gd(n, γ), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by GRID technique for the broadening of decay γ-ray lines using GAMS4 double-flat-crystal spectrometer at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL-Grenoble) High Flux Reactor. ¹⁵⁶Gd; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), B(E1), intrinsic quadrupole moments, dynamic moments of inertia of the K=0+, 2+, 4+ bands. Systematics of levels, two-neutron and two-proton pairing gaps in ^{154,156,158,160}Gd. Comparison with previous experimental values, and with partial dynamical symmetry (PDS), and 5DCH predictions.
