Impact of ⁷Be breakup on the ⁷Li(p, n) neutron spectrum

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁷Li(p, n), E=21 MeV beam from BARC-TIFR Pelletron-Linac facility; measured evaporation products using two silicon detector telescopes, E(n), I(n) by time-of-flight using three liquid organic scintillators, (³He)α-coin, (³He)n-coin, double differential σ(E(³He, α), θ) for ⁷Li(p, n)⁷Be^* to n+³He+α channel; deduced ΔE-E correlation spectra, ³He-³He energy correlation plot, double differential σ(En, θ) simulated 0° breakup neutron spectrum at 21 MeV with contributions from continuum and resonance. Comparison of neutron spectrum with previous experimental data, and with theoretical calculations using FRESCO code.
