General Comments:

First identification of 88Se by 1970De08 and 1970Kr05 formed in neutron fission of 235U and detected through delayed neutron activity. Earlier conference report (1969WaZS) may also have identified delayed neutron activity from 88Se.

Later decay measurements: 1971To13 (also 1970ToZT), 1977Pf01, 1978Ze08, 1980Ze04 (also 1978ZeZZ), 1982Re10, 1982Re08, 1982Li09, 2012Qu01

Yield and cross section measurements: 2000Lh02, 2002So13

α J=(2+) level at 886-keV was proposed in 252Cf by assigning a 886γ to 88Se. α subsequent measurement in 2013Rz02 provides evidence for the 886γ to be assigned to 87Se and thus is not adopted here. See 252Cf decay dataset for additional details.

Q-value: S(2n)=9524 4; S(2p)=28702 syst 298; Q(β-n)=1936 5 (2012Wa38)
