New measurement of the ³He(α, γ)⁷Be cross section at medium energies

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴He(³He, γ)⁷Be, E=2507, 4010, 5312 keV; measured ⁷Be recoils, Eγ, Iγ, (recoil)γ-correlated events, σ, astrophysical S₃₄(E) factor using activation method. Relevance to solar neutrino flux and the primordial ⁷Li abundance. Comparison with several previous measurements including ERNA data, and some theoretical calculations.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴He(³He, γ), E=2.3-5.3 MeV; measured prompt Eγ, Iγ, β-delayed Eγ, Iγ from from ⁷Be EC decay, counting of ⁷Be ions; deduced S-factor.

Absence of low-temperature dependence of the decay of ⁷Be and ¹⁹⁸Au in metallic hosts

RADIOACTIVITY ⁷Be(EC); ¹⁹⁸Au(β^-); measured dependence of decay rate on temperature. Be in Cu host, Au in Al-Au alloy. No evidence found for temperature dependence on half-life.
