Hyperfine structure study of 97, 98, 99Tc in a new laser ion source for high-resolution laser spectroscopy

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 97,98,99Tc; measured hyperfine structure spectra of three different atomic transitions in Tc using resonance ionization spectroscopy (RIS) and efficient laser spectroscopy at the RISIKO mass separator Mainz university; deduced hyperfine structure coupling constants, μ, Q of ground states of 97Tc and 98Tc, isotope shifts, differences in charge radii based on calculated mass- and field-shift parameters using atomic MCDHF calculations. Comparison with previous experimental results. Systematics of g factors, magnetic dipole moments and electric quadrupole moments for Z=43, A=93-99 isotopes, charge radii for Z=39, N=47-63, Z=40, N=47-62, Z=41, N=49-62, Z=42, N=48-64, Z=43, N=54-56, Z=44, N=52-64, Z=46, N=56-64, and Z=47, N=54-62.

In-gas laser ionization and spectroscopy of actinium isotopes near the N=126 closed shell

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 212,213,214,215,227Ac; measured optical hyperfine spectra by the in-gas laser ionization and spectroscopy (IGLIS) technique at the LISOL facility of Cyclotron Research Centre, Louvain-la-Neuve; deduced g factors, quadrupole moments and spins of the ground states, configurations. Comparison with large-scale nuclear-shell-model calculations. 212,213Ac produced in 197Au(20Ne, 5n), (20Ne, 4n), E=145 MeV. 214,215Ac produced in 197Au(22Ne, 5n), (22Ne, 4n), E=143 MeV.
