Impact of 7Be breakup on the 7Li(p, n) neutron spectrum

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 7Li(p, n), E=21 MeV beam from BARC-TIFR Pelletron-Linac facility; measured evaporation products using two silicon detector telescopes, E(n), I(n) by time-of-flight using three liquid organic scintillators, (3He)α-coin, (3He)n-coin, double differential σ(E(3He, α), θ) for 7Li(p, n)7Be* to n+3He+α channel; deduced ΔE-E correlation spectra, 3He-3He energy correlation plot, double differential σ(En, θ) simulated 0° breakup neutron spectrum at 21 MeV with contributions from continuum and resonance. Comparison of neutron spectrum with previous experimental data, and with theoretical calculations using FRESCO code.

Radiative proton capture to low-lying T=0 and T=1 states in 10B

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(p, γ), E=7-20 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin between the primary and the secondary γ rays using an array of 19 hexagonal BGO and two cylindrical LaBr3(Ce) detectors at BARC-TIFR Pelletron Linac facility; deduced σ(E) for six low-lying isospin 0 and 1 levels in 10B, electron-gamma-shower (EGS) computer code simulations. 10B(γ, p), E=8-26 MeV; deduced photoproton σ(E), GDR excitations built on excited states in 10B; isospin effects in GDR excitations. Comparison with direct-semidirect (DSD) capture model calculations. 11B(p, γ), E=7.98 MeV; 27Al(p, γ), E=7.96, 8.97, 9.96 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, σ for transitions to the ground, first, and second excited states; these reactions used for characterization of detector system for the analysis of 9Be(p, γ) reaction.
