Population of the giant pairing vibration

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹³²Sn(p, t), E=20 MeV; calculated σ(E) using mixing of unbound levels in a set of toy models to incorporate giant pairing vibrations (GPV), and distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) transfer amplitudes; deduced small role of mixing of unbound levels in lowering such cross sections.
