High-resolution study of Gamow-Teller transitions via the ⁵⁴Fe(³He, t)⁵⁴Co reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁴Fe(³He, t), E=140 MeV/nucleon; measured triton spectra, angular distributions, yields. ⁵⁴Co; deduced levels, l-transfers, Gamow-Teller excitations, B(GT), B(M1)/B(GT), isospin analog states. ⁵⁴Fe(p, p'), E=160 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, yields. ⁵⁴Fe; deduced levels, J, π, B(M1), isospin analog states, R(GT) values. Isoscalar and Isovector orbital terms. RCNP facility. Comparison with data from ⁵⁴Fe(β^-), (e, e'), (p, n), and with shell model calculations.
