One-neutron transfer study of 135Te and 137Xe by particle-γ coincidence spectroscopy: The ν1i13/2 state at N=83

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 13C(134Te, 12C), (134Te, 13C'), (134Te, 14C), E=565 MeV; 9Be(134Te, 8Be), E=565 MeV; 13C(136Xe, 12C), E=560 MeV; 9Be(136Xe, 8Be), E=560 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, particle spectra, (particle)γ-, (particle)γγ-coin, (12C)γ(θ) using HyBall and Clarion arrays as HRIBF facility in ORNL for 134Te beam, and Gammasphere + Microball arrays at ATLAS facility in ANL for 136Xe beam. 134,135Te, 137Xe; deduced levels, J, π, σ, multipolarity. Comparison of measured σ with DWBA predictions, i13/2 states. Z=50-70, N=82, 83; systematics of energies of first 3-, 7/2- and 13/2+ states for even Z nuclei.

B(E2)↑ Measurements for Radioactive Neutron-Rich Ge Isotopes: Reaching the N=50 Closed Shell

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(78Ge, 78Ge'), (80Ge, 80Ge'), E=2.24 MeV/nucleon; 48Ti(82Ge, 82Ge'), E=220 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin following projectile Coulomb excitation. 78,80,82Ge deduced excitation B(E2). Systematic trends in B(E2) values discussed.
