Experimental study of isospin transport with 40, 48Ca + 40, 48Ca reactions at 35 MeV/nucleon

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40,48Ca(40Ca, X), E=34.81 MeV/nucleon; 40,48Ca(48Ca, X), E=34.83 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products; deduced transverse energy distributions of light charged particles, distribution of the average asymmetry as a function of the experimental centrality for the projectile-like fragments (PLF) and quasiprojectile (QP), isospin transport ratios, average N/Z ratio for the emitted clusters, average light charged particles multiplicities. Combined VAMOS high acceptance spectrometer and the INDRA charged particle multidetector setup at GANIL.

Experimental study of the 40, 48Ca + 40, 48Ca reactions at 35 MeV/nucleon

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40,48Ca(40Ca, X), (48Ca, X), E=35 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products; deduced average neutron excess of the fragments, average forward-emitted multiplicities, average neutron multiplicities, angular distributions of quasiprojectile fragments, mass and isotopic fission fragments distributions, average excitation energy per nucleon. Comparison to simulations performed in the framework of the antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) model coupled to the statistical decay code GEMINI++ as afterburner. 4π charged particle multidetector array INDRA and VAMOS spectrometer at GANIL.

Isospin diffusion measurement from the direct detection of a quasiprojectile remnant

Comparison of the measured equilibration degree with model predictions using antisymmetrized molecular dynamics (AMD) coupled with statistical decay using GEMINI++ code.

Model independent reconstruction of impact parameter distributions for intermediate energy heavy ion collisions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 58Ni(58Ni, X), E=52, 73.96-90.0 MeV/nucleon; K(36Ar, X), E=31.54-51.66 MeV/nucleon; Cl(36Ar, X), E=31.54-51.66 MeV/nucleon; 58Ni(36Ar, X), E=63.03-63.63 MeV/nucleon; 197Au(58Ni, X), E=31.98-82.0 MeV/nucleon; Sn(129Xe, X), E=24.98-50.3 MeV/nucleon; 124Sn(129Xe, X), E=65.00-100.0 MeV/nucleon; 197Au(197Au, X), E=40.0-100.0 MeV/nucleon; analyzed large experimental dataset for intermediate energy (20-100 MeV/nucleon) heavy-ion collisions from INDRA collaboration at GANIL facility to extract by a model-independent method to investigate relationship between any experimental observable and the impact parameter distributions; deduced parameters of fits to total charged particle multiplicity distributions, and transverse light charged particles (LCP) energy distributions; analyzed simulations of 58Ni(58Ni, X), E=52 MeV/nucleon events using microscopic transport model (AMD), and statistical decay code GEMINI++. Relevance to improvement of constraints on the nuclear equation of state from comparisons between data on intermediate energy heavy ion collisions and transport model calculations.
