Comparison with theoretical calculations of σ(θ) distributions using distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) and coupled channel Born approximation (CCBA) frameworks, with Sao Paulo optical potentials and shell model spectroscopic amplitudes. ^{17}O, ^{19}F, ^{41}Ca, ^{39}K; deduced excitation energies from one-neutron transfer reactions. ^{17}O, ^{41}Ca; ^{19}F, ^{39}K; calculated one-neutron spectroscopic amplitudes for ^{18}O projectile and ^{40}Ca target overlaps using shell-model with the p-sd-mod and ZBM2-modified interactions; coupling schemes for the projectile-ejectile and target-residual systems for the one-proton and one-neutron transfer used in the optical model (OM) + DWBA and CCBA calculations.
