Laser Excitation of the Th-229 Nucleus

RADIOACTIVITY ²²⁹Th(IT); measured resonance fluorescence signal frequency; deduced the wavelength, the fluorescence lifetime in the crystal of Th-doped CaF₂, isomer T_1/2 for a nucleus isolated in vacuum. Nuclear laser spectroscopy and realizing optical nuclear clocks applications.
