Lifetime measurements of 0+ states in 168Er with the Doppler-shift attenuation method

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 168Er(n, n'γ), E=1.2-3.0 MeV in 0.1 MeV steps; measured Eγ, Iγ, excitation functions, γ(θ), level T1/2 by Doppler-shift attenuation method (DSAM) at the University of Kentucky Accelerator Laboratory. 168Er; deduced levels, J, π, excited 0+ states, bands, multipole mixing ratios, B(E2), B(E1). Comparison with previous experimental results, and with evaluated data in the ENSDF database. Systematics of low-lying levels and B(E2) values in 162,164,166,168,170Er.

54Fe neutron elastic and inelastic scattering differential cross sections from 2-6 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 54Fe(n, n), (n, n'), E=2-6 MeV; measured En, In(θ); deduced σ(θ); calculated σ(θ) using coupled channels, TALYS, DWBA code ECIS06; deduced increase of DWBA deformation parameter above 4 MeV by about 1/4 using fit to the data.

Neutron scattering cross section measurements for 56Fe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 56Fe(n, n), (n, n'), E=1.30-7.96 MeV; measured E(n), I(n), σ(E, θ) using a C6D6 liquid scintillation detector and time-of-flight techniques at the University of Kentucky Accelerator Laboratory. Comparison with previous experimental data, evaluations in ENDF, JENDL, and JEFF databases, and with theoretical calculations using different optical model potentials in TALYS and EMPIRE codes.
